THOU ART LOOSED!

Bible Passage: Luke 13:10-14, Genesis 1:26-28
“And behold, there was a woman who had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bent over and could in no way raise herself up. But when Jesus saw her, He called her to Him and said to her, “Woman, you are loosed from your infirmity.” And He laid His hands on her, and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.”Luke 13: 11-13

The agenda of God for us is to have dominion. The first mandate God gave to man after creation was to go and have dominion. Adam by this pronouncement was to have dominion but unfortunately things went bad and he lost the kingdom.

Six things that happened to Adam after the fall

1. Adam lost the kingdom, therefore declared independence from his kingdom government;
2. He lost his position as an ambassador;
3. He severed his relationship with the kingdom of heaven;
4. He lost his dominion on earth;
5. He lost the most important thing being a relationship with the Holy Spirit;
6. He lost that kingdom.

It was also at this point that the destiny of man was tampered with (Psalms 11:3).

Jesus saw the woman and the infirmity she bore.  The same Jesus is here today, His eyes can see you; He knows the situation you are in and the challenges facing you, He is aware of the sickness and diseases you are coping with, the financial incapability you are in and all what you are going through.

This woman was bent by the spirit of infirmity for 18 years. There are many of us who are bent like that woman. Today is your day of deliverance, Amen! Many are bent physically in their bodies, others are bent in other areas and going through indebtedness, failure, sickness/diseases, disfavour etc. There is only one touch you need and that’s the touch of Jesus. There’s only one cry you need, like that of blind Bartimaeus. If you are willing, you can receive that touch today. The woman kept going to church, kept going to worship God despite her situation; but many of us today are full of excuses to seek God or commune with God. May you not be missing on the day of your visitation In Jesus’ Name. God does not want you to be weighed down and hindered from fulfilling your spiritual obligation to worship Him.. For Jesus to have seen this woman and called her, it means she was at the right place at the right time. No matter your situation, the important thing to do is to be where Jesus is. Develop an attitude to worship God despite your situation (Isaiah 66:2b). Do not give excuses!

Ever before you can receive anything from God, you have to obey. To God, obedience is different from compliance. Obedience is an immediate, a complete and total action. If you defer your obedience, it becomes compliance (Revelation 3:20).

When you come to Jesus, you yield your life to him absolutely and completely. You must realise that instructions are to be obeyed, not to be discussed (2 Chronicles 7:14). Jesus spoke the word of deliverance to the woman when she came and she was instantly delivered (Psalms 107:20). You need to come to Jesus just as this woman did. When you do so, you will be totally loosed from whatever you are going through, She came, Jesus spoke and laid hands on her. Also, Jesus wants you to come under his tutelage to learn of his lifestyle. Are you ready to do so? Make up your mind today!
