Christ in you the hope of glory

Christ in you the hope of glory By Pastor John Watson

Texts: Hebrews 11:1, Colossians 1:25-29

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.” – Colossians 1:27

God is a God of love who does not want anyone to get hurt but that everyone be saved. Hope is borne out of a conscious decision that you must make which is to believe that possibilities of the future will not be determined by the conditions of my present situation.  According to 1 Peter 2:9, you are unique because Jesus dwells in you. You are not a normal person. You must show love to others because you have the ability to love more than anyone else.

Learn to forgive one another because forgiveness unlocks the key to blessings. If you understand that you have been loved you will love others. You have no glory of your own the glory belongs to God (2 Corinthians 4:7). He is strong and you are weak so you must look up to Him as your source. Relationship is when Christ dwells in you and is manifest in your daily life 2 Corinthians 8.
